The John Fraser Fall Classic is held in memory of Dr. John Fraser. John was a well known, and much loved resident and Doctor in Musquodoboit Harbour. The Twin Oaks Hospital and the Birches were both very special to John and we believe he would feel honoured to continue to help them in this way. Each year in his memory we hold this tournament at John’s favourite course, River Oaks.
The John Fraser Fall Classic Golf Tournament is one of our premier fundraisers. It brings together golfers from across the region for a day dedicated to raising funds for a good cause. Together we have raised over $83,000 for patients and residents of Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital and the Birches Home for Special Care in the first 5 years. That’s pretty amazing! This year promises to be the best ever.
