The 2010 John Fraser Fall Classic was held at River Oaks Golf Course on a beautiful sunny day, Monday September 27th. Nineteen teams participated in this years tournament raising a total of $21,360!
A special putting green contest was set up where golfers raised funds for a Wheel Chair. A contest was held for the best dressed golfer and was won by the Fraser Family, the “Putter Scotchers”. Honourable mention goes to the fantastic costumes of “Payne’s Dames” and “The Happy Gilmore’s”.
Special West Jet Draw: All summer long volunteers had been selling tickets on a draw for “2-Tickets to Anywhere in the World West Jet Flies”. The total raised was $7,005 and the draw was made at the John Fraser Fall Classic by West Jet’s very own Mr. Jon Quinton. The winner was Mrs. Nancy Turner of West Petpeswick.
