The 2012 John Fraser Fall Classic was a huge success raising $25,135 on a glorious, sunny and warm day at River Oaks Golf Course.
During the John Fraser Fall Classic a contest was held on the putting green which raised over $600 towards an adaptive Curling Game for the Birches Home for Special Care. This game has become the highlight of the week for many of our Birches residents; a chance for both the residents and their families to interact in a fun, competitive way. The game adapts to different abilities allowing everyone to play. This game has been a huge success and there is already talk of holding a “Bonspiel” to compete with other Nursing Homes on the Eastern Shore!
